Sheephill Quarry has been providing
quarried "Whinstone" (a form of Basalt) for over 30 years and it still
has a future life of at least 38 years. Type 1 sub base is the most
common product supplied for many applications such as roads and car
parks. In addition to this, we supply various sizes of crusher run and
scalping for bulk infilling and clean stone for pipe bedding and
drainage.
Due to the high impact value of our stone it has been the preferred
choice for armoured stone for sea defence work in marina breakwaters
and shore protection projects.
